Graphic Designing Tips

1. Limit the number of fonts used:

This is possibly the most common tip I've received from the designers I've spoken to. They strongly recommend that you use different fonts in a design, but don't overdo it and go overboard.
You always want to make sure that your fonts work well together and try to limit the number of fonts used to three or less.
Experiment and play with the fonts you already have in the software you are working with, or download free fonts from reputable font websites anytime.

2. Change the size and height of your text to fit your design perfectly:

You can always play around with the text that is superimposed on you
Picture. You can increase or decrease the line height and spacing to create a "box effect". In this picture you can see that the line height has been reduced significantly and the size has been increased exponentially.
Make sure the placement of your text is comfortable and try to get some symmetry for this effect. I've also decreased the transparency in the text so the mountains come through the text and really bring the quote to life.

3. Use contrasting fonts to highlight - they make the perfect pair:

The goal in designing is to grab a person's attention and show them what you want to say. You can make a big statement by using little tricks like these. Use contrasting fonts.
For example, you can use a bold sanserif font with an italic, romantic font to show people the mood of the text.

4. Don't be afraid of getting BIG:

When choosing elements for your design, keep in mind that larger objects will attract more attention than smaller objects.
When using multiple elements, make sure that your main object is larger than the others as your viewer's eye will automatically be drawn to the larger of the two objects.

5. Keep track of your text - give each letter its own personal space:

You need to give each letter a personal space and give them space to breathe. Jokes aside, letter spacing and kerning typography are a big deal.
It can really make or break a design. Some fonts have odd letter spacing by default, but luckily you can take care of that and use it like a pro.
Increase or decrease the letter spacing depending on the situation and try again until it looks right and each letter has the perfect spot.

6. Before you start designing, do some research:

Have all of the required details before you start writing or creating. Study, read, research and provide resources. Regardless of whether it is about materials and objects or information and facts, the research process guarantees a well-thought-out result.

7. Be original:

Increase your creative and graphic design skills to achieve original graphics. Be inventive and experimental and choose and combine different fonts and filters. Avoid trends and create designs that suit your own style and put a personal stamp on your work.

8. Use the same design elements on each side:

The easiest way to ensure aesthetic unity in a document or presentation is to duplicate pages, edit text, and replace images.

9. Keep your designs simple:

Keep it simple, but don't forget your basics. Make sure every element has a reason to be in the design and keep the number of fonts, colors, shapes and borders to a minimum.
Use contrasting color combinations so the text is sharp and easy to read. Using a rigid frame to hold your copy improves the compositional structure of a design.

10. Don't be afraid of economies of scale:

Apply scaling to types, shapes, or compositional features that require adequate emphasis.
Use appropriate colors to enhance this technique while also making sure to use appropriate fonts that look good when enlarged. Here Raleway for the word "scale" is strong and bold with clear shapes.
